there is a way to reset the SRS light, there is a plug on the fuse box under the dash that has a dummy srs plug which is yellow, you have to jump that when the car is off and put the car to ON, then keep looking at the light, when it goes off, take out the jump when it comes back put it back in, and so on until you see the light blink a few times then turns off the system is now reset. if nothing is wrong with the airbags it will stay off.
