I am pretty impressed with this DA rocking JDM DC2 headlights!!! nice bodywork progress
So this dude posted pictures of his car on clubsi a while ago before doing the body work to his hood and we all pretty much clowned on him saying this was about the stupidest idea EVAR for any respectable DA owner and to just give it up and buy the jdm one piece lights...
Well he posted an update of the body work hes doing to the hood and imo it looks pretty bad ***, minus the fact the front of the DA isnt wide enough to intergrate the jdm grill I think hes doing a pretty bad *** job. Hes going to start work on the fenders so they match the ends of the headlights imo if he ends up getting a mugen front bumper this will be about the sexiest front end on a DA I have ever seen.
I would just like to give props to all of the do it yourself guys out there man especially to the Integra crowd this month as it seems a lot of you guys are putting out some bad *** work man!!!

im sure the guy is going to paint the whole car after hes done, mind you he has to customize the fenders as well since the lights are wider than the fenders. lol
I've seen it a long time ago. There was this pretty clean blue one back in the day with a Mugen bumper at all the shows.
with enough crack and time.. anything is possible. no one knows that i drive a civic hatch with a prelude conversion. thats why bondo is the 8th wonder of the world... just ask chad.

might as well just use the jdm dc2 front bumper too, it would look hotter
too wide... then he would need to find a way to integrate the fenders... and cut the bumper in the middle approximately in two places then sew it back together with bondo to shorten the width for it to work right... but thats not the purpose of his conversion. I believe that was brought up as well.
I've seen it done before. IT doesn't look bad at all, but that really depends on who did the conversion. Since the stock DA headlights are similiar in shape, the JDM ITR flows quite nicely.
i can see his improvement with the bodywork through time. however, it doesn't flow well IMO. maybe it's because of the lack of a single tone paintjob.

ditto. this guy locally had a jdm front end on a DA and it just didn't look right.

I think he should make the hood close the gap between the headlights completely, and I am not sure if they are sitting 100% level.</TD></TR></TABLE>
