954rr 75mm forged pistons
Yep that's right. the 2004 Honda's CBR 954RR has 75mm pistons. and they are forged. But I can't find any information on them as to their wrist pin diamater, width, compression height, if they are dished or domed, and their total height.
If anybody finds this info, post it on here, this could be another alternative for us D series folk, that are searching for cheap pistons and rods when upgrading the bottom end of our motors.

My bad, it's really a 1000RR, and it's not actually that it's TECHNICALLY a 998cc.
BUT people get my point. Anybody know what the specs are on these new HONDA CBR 1000RR 75MM PISTONS?

I dunno what CR that would be, because you need to know the compression heigh, and if they're domed, dished, flat topped and by what cc to determine the effective CR with the block heigh, stroke/2, rod length, gasket thickness, head combustion chamber cc. bore ans again stroke.
Anybody?

A single piston shouldn't be expensive at all, so you may want to pick one up just for the sake of research. The biggest concerns are compression height and valve relief location, you can always rebush the rods for different wrist pins.
