Default Need something CNC'ed maybe a few of them!

I need to make a spacer plate for my SPU car. Its about a 16inch by 16inch by 1inch thick piece. I will provide the template and thats not really a problem. I was wondering what I should expect to pay and if possibly someone here could do that ?

Possibility for a few of them...

Thanks

what exactly is it being used for? I think my mill will just barely fit a peice that big if done right. If you want to email me the plans for it to: GSXtboost@Hotmail.com and ill quote you a price. I can do any material you want, aluminum would be cheapest.

Just to give you a figure for the cost of the material alone... I bought a 2' X 2.5' X 3/8" plate of 6061 for $200, and that was the cheapest from a few different places. Material costs around here are pretty high though. The plate weighed probably 40lbs.

no need for CNC, why write a routine for a couple of simple pieces?

A regular Bridgeport should be fine for this.

Its being used because I am mating a transmission and engine that dont like each other and I need a 1" gap between them to be filled

Writing a program takes me less than 5 minutes, might as well do that instead because ill otherwise waste my time plotting points out from one another manually.
