I'm interested in painting my car someday, but not sure about a color change...
hello,
my 89 sedan is in need of a paint job. I once thought it would be fun to repaint the hood and trunk with spray paint which is not the same color, but tan instead of beige... oh and my hood is screwed up a little anyway and has a lazy bondo job/spray paint coat on it. I have a brown interior, and it would be cool to paint the car something shinier than beige, but I can't afford someone to spend weeks doing whatever to make it look really good. I also want to do an engine swap, which could give time for coating the engine bay with something while theres no engine in it. I do have access to a paint sprayer to use with my air compressor and stuff, but I haven't started looking much further than that for a DIY type of job. I am sure I could have a bunch of friends come over and help a bit with it and all but its too overwhelming for me to worry about for a while now. any ideas or color schemes would be nice to hear about... I also want to do door jams and bumpers and stuff... oh and also where to actually buy paints and primer/sealer other than in the little cans. Thanks for your suggestions and thoughts!
