Default GSR crank vs LS crank

in a b18a. Which would be better and why? And if installed installed in a b18a do the rods have to match the crank? I mean will LS rods fit on a gsr crank in this block and vise versa? Someone help, my topics usually get ignored.

holy crap didn't someone just ask the same thing?

LS crank = LS rods
GSR/ITR crank = GSR rods or ITR rods

LS CRANK/RODS a little more low end with less potential for high rpm power, and less stable at higher rpms as well.

GSR crank/rods almost opposite of what i said of the LS CRANK/RODS

ls crank will give a bit more displacement and youll probably hit peak power sooner and get a bit more of it...
Id keep it under 8500 rpms though...
9k or higher use the gsr crank(less stroke).

You must match the rods w/ the crank...unless your gonna buy some $$custom$$ pistons...

also if you decide to use an LS crank and rods in a gsr block you have to remove the oil squirters and plug them up otherwise they will hit, so basically just a tad easier to go with LS block if your using the LS crank/rods anyways.
