Default LS throttle body on GSR intake manifold- custom bracket for throttle cable

im in the middle of my lsvtec project- for those who are wondering why its taking so long is that i only have a couple hours of free time a day, if that, and most days none at all.

anyway- im using a gsr manifold with an LS throttle body, i KNOW I KNOW big mistake- but i need to know some ideas to get the throttle cable working, i have no idea where to position a bracket for it to work. i need to do a custom set up but im stumped. any help is much appreciated- thanks in advance

Use the GS-R throttle pulley/spring and bracket with a GS-R throttle cable. I believe the LS and B16 throttle bodies will still have the two M6 bolt holes to mount the bracket.

Or, just buy a GS-R throttle body.

I might have a GS-R throttle pulley and spring you can have, as well as the firewall throttle cable stay to keep it from hitting the hood. I just don't have the bracket that goes on the throttle body or the throttle cable.

yeah thats what im gonna do.. i have a trashed gsr throttle body but the pulley is in tact. so its all good, im just gonna switch them and use the gsr throttle cable bracket. then i guess ill just zuptie the cable to the top of the firwall.. i donno ill post again when its done. if it gets done heh

It's too bad you can't wait. I just ordered the last of the parts needed
to make my Blox IM work properly on my GSR and will be getting rid of
the throttle cable bracket. I'll give to you for free if you pay postage.
