Default The R came back from the body shop...

I got a new rear bumper cover because someone rear ended me a while back. Well anyways, the car looks new again when I drove it home, but when I inspected it in my garage, I noticed a bunch of small grainy particles stuck to the underside of the back of the car. It's all over the top of my exhaust. On the rear sway bar and also on the rear tie bar as well. I can't seem to get any of it off. WTF is this stuff? Has anyone else experienced this when they got the car back after bodywork being done to it? And how can I get it off? It feels like sand.

that is most likely overspray it is possible to get off but requires buffing. Maybe some kind of thinner but who knows what that will do to the finish of the muffler...

You're right. I'm going to take it back to them. I just hope they don't destroy my exhaust in the process of removing that crap.

Well, look at it this way if they do you'll have your new bumper cover and a new muffler.
