mini me distributor will i need one if i switch the head ?

Default mini me distributor will i need one if i switch the head ?

if i get a d16z6 head on my d16y7 will i have to get a distributor for the d16z6 head and also a new throttle cable for z6 ?

you will need a new distributor but wont need a new throttle cable.

forgot you will also need an ecu (from the vtec head or get a vafc and control it that way with it being hard wired) you will also need a timing belt for the Z6.

You will need the Z6 distributor housing, but swap the guts with the plug from the Y7 into it so your harness will plug into it.

You will also need Z6 head bolts, the Y-series are different lengths than the Z.

yeah that is what i did with the distributor, i swapped the guts from my dx into the si housing that a friend gave me. That is the only difference and if you have an si distributor housing laying around then def. use that cause it will save you some hardcore money, so good call klungemonger!
