Review: Neuspeed SofSport springs -- 96 Accord
So I picked up a set of SofSports for my car awhile ago used off ebay for like $50. I got a chance to put them on a few weeks ago and I thought I'd share my experience with the board since I haven't seen too many people with them.
First off, Neuspeed claims that they lower the car .75". I sure can't tell, but I actually really like that fact. My car is bone stock, with the ugly *** 96 EX sedan wheels and two really beat up bumpers. While I can't tell the difference visually, I really notice a difference in how the car drives.
It rides a little stiffer than stock with just the springs and my stock shocks. It feels like what I would imagine Honda would put on it if there had been a factory performance kit for the car. It stays much flatter in corners and really improves road feel. Bad roads and speed bumps aren't an issue, you can definately feel that the car is stiffer than stock, but also doesn't feel like I'm on race springs.
Overall, I would definately reccomend them for anyone who wants to retain their stock look and ride comfort, but also gain a little performance in the process. While I don't think it's worh the $239.95 Neuspeed charges for them (http://www.neuspeed.com/produc...d=885). Anyways, enough talk, onto the pics:

This is kind of a silly concept....Lets drop the car but only .75 inches....whats the point. Oh well I guess if the ride is that good for you

It's really meant as a stock replacement, or more as a way to retain the car's ground cleaance but be stiffer.

I dont know...maybe just to me it seems like that isn't worth the amount of time and effort to do that but all the better to him

This is why it's an upgrade......I know many people (adults) that wouldn't want their car any lower than it is, but want less body roll and firmer handling.
Good info
