Default B16 Ecu question

I am swapping a U.S.D.M. B16 From a Del Sol into my 91 Hatchie and I am looking for an opinion as to what would work better for me, a J.D.M. SIR1 ecu or using a jummper harness and the ecu from the Del Sol VTEC?

The distributor and injectors should match the ECU. So if you do not plan to swap the distributor or injectors, you should use the OBD-1 (or OBD-2 if the Del Slow is a 1996+) Del Sol P30 ECU and a jumper harness. The jumper harness will require some extra wiring but its worth it for the advantages of OBD-1. Ex. heated O2, long term fuel correction...

you can use either a usdm ecu or jdm. for sure you need to get a OBD0-1 jumper. since you are in texas and don't need to go to a ref like cali guys use a jdm P30 OBD1 lots easier to find. both ecu's perform the same
