half-sized fluidyne radiator for crx?
Is anyone here running a half-size fluidyne radiator for the CRX?
Ive seen a few websites that say "comes with all brackets needed, fits like OEM radiator"
that's not good enough for me - does it actually bolt up or do I have to fabricate something?
Does it fit perfectly? someone said that the coolant (lower) hose hits the crossmember
any general opinions on this radiator?

I know that Wil from Exospeed carries them, they are a bit pricey however. I was thinking of getting one, but I think I'll just get a 92-95 Civic radiator and angle it to fit.

Can't you just use the half-size radiator from the EG's? Or do you have to make the proper modifications?

EG rad is too tall. Has to be angled. Alot of people are having good luck using 95-99 Neon Rads ( no ac and manual trans ) width and thickness of an EG basically and not too tall will use 2 oem crx mounts. Just need to run an inline adapter for the fill cap. But its a cheap easy bolt on upgrade!

Use the Neon rad if times are tough. Use the C&R if you need the dual core and have a little extra for your project. C&R will make it anyway you want it if you have the $ to go custom. You will need to supply dimensions. I used the C&R and it fits great. I used it with a Z10 crossmember so I'm not sure what you will need to do to your stock crossmember. I am pretty sure drilling ONE hole in crossmemeber is all. As with anything a little massaging is usually needed.
The information doesn't seem to be getting out there...92+ 1/2 civic rads and all thier aftermarket versions are TOO TALL for an EF without titling back or some hood modifications.
Will at Exospeed helped make it all possible for me.
After looking at the Fluidyne site I see no info on a 1/2 sized CRX-EF rad. Just full width. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I am sure that the rad you are mentioning is full length. Th epicture is decieving you. Did you actually contact them?
If you are willing to spend the $ for a fluidyne then why not just get the C&R which is made for a CRX and is half the width. Trust me. The passenger side pin will fit right into your crossmember, then drill a hole for the middle pin (formerly the drivers side)
http://www.exospeed.com should be able to help you, or contact C&R directly.

Ben at Importparts told me that it was halfsize and he has spoked with them.
Do you have any website for C&R ?

This is what Fluidyne said about the CRX radiator.
Anybody here that has tried doing this? Any pictures?
"We actually do produce a 1/2 size radiator that will fit the '88-'91 Civic and CRX. It is basically the same as the '92-'00 Civic radiator, but has the mounting pins relocated to better fit the earlier models. You will need to relocate the upper mounting bracket that fits over the pin, and you will also need to use the '92-'00 Civic fan package. The '90 model fan package will not work with this half size radiator. The part number you would need is FHP11-88CRX.5 ´"
