Default Welding Gas for Stainless Steel: Argon or C-10?

Not sure how many welders out there would acually know how to repond to this since using pure argon is more popular... but, i have heard here and there that using 10% CO2 90% argon will acually penitrate deeper when welding stainless steel... any proof or experience with this from anyone?

I've always had good experience using pure Argon on stainless. But I haven't had the chance to try it with C-10. I'm very curious about this too, now.

Use Argon. Your more likely to get perosity using C10. Since Heli-Arc is a completly pure process you need a completly stable and inert gas to keep everything clean.
