This is from a Dutch car magazine. As you can see on the first table the CTR is the fastest on the track.
BTW. It was a short twisty track.....

 

yup, in the Jan BM vdo the new CTR was 1car length ahead in the 1/4mile against the DC5. They said it was probably due to electric power steering and shorter tyres in the CTR.

On the track they were pretty much equal w/ the DC5 coming out ahead. Both Drift King and Gansan stated that they'd prefer the CTR over the DC5 out on the track. They liked how the CTR was more 'fun' car to drive.

I saw the sweetest video of a Spoon Civic absolutely killing an R-33 and various other cars.. At one point the Civic stopped dead on the straightaway to let the others catch up and pass, and then still beat the Skyline!

 

it took em 7.1 seconds to get the wrx to 100kph?

i guess they wanted to be gingerly on the driveline? I guess I would if I had my own WRX.

For a magazine mule, I'd wring it out.

Subaru Impreza WRX 7,1 sec to kmh


were little girls driving those cars or!!??

 

Note (in Dutch): Acceleration measurements were done on wet surface......

 

they did not know how to launch. They probably tried to launch it like a FWD car. They way you launch a WRX is you DROP the clutch from 5k rpm's. The WRX should go from 0-60 mph or 0-100 kph in 5.5 sec. I am not magazine racing, I have seen it!

 

Again: the track was wet (and cold) they said.......

 

OMG... Maybe I should be driving a Skoda as a winter beater..

 

friends 300hp preza did 5.4 to 100kmh in cold and wet.. or I think I remember so, he´ll correct me if I´m wrong.. why cant a awd car do better then 7,1 ?? shitty drivers if u ask me...
