Default are these good non Vtec cams good..Specs inside

CAM-XXXX
Dur @ .010" 268/254 Lift 400/388

403's are
Dur @ .50"" 211/210 LIft 423/409

404's Are
Dur @ .50 216/218 Lift 446/432

my question is where does cam-XXXX rank compared to 404/403's


the specs of cam-xXXx is at a differnt duration so i dunno how to calculate
any help would be great

i got the 404 spec sheet in front of me and its actually:

Dur @ 0.050 in: 226 ex: 224
Lift @ 0.050 in:.254 ex:.248

I told this guy this yesterday when he wrote the question in another post on the exact same topic. Do not keep creating new topics with the same question, just reply to your post to bump it back to the top, hence why you ocassionally see someone reply with "BUMP"!


Anyway, I told you to contact the actual cam company about their real specs because some of these websites have not been updated in a long time and the cams may have changed to a better grind. You need to check the duration @ .050" b/c this is going to be your most accurate measurement. So get all the specs for the cams duration @ .050" and compare them. Also check to see what their max lift is too.

Post up what cams you are trying to buy so I can help you out more; or if would like it to be a secret then PM me and I will be glad to help you!
