will i need any more things for mini me ?
A guy on ebay is selling a d16z6 head vtec w/ ecu 0bd1 , intake manifold , timing belt , head gasket , for $225 . i have a d16y7 will i need a new distr. for the head or can i use the one on the d16y7 . also for the throttle cable do i need a different one . I know that my 98 civic is obd2 and the ECU for sell is obd1 willi have to buy a harness ? thanks for the help or if anyone has all of this for a better price pleasepost up thanks .

Looks like your going to need just the obd 2 to obd 1 harness. You can use your stock throttle cable, stock dizzy, and stock throttle body. You might want to get a new intake manifold and throttle body gasket.

Edit: Also find out if the D16Y8 Intake manifold comes with the throttle cable bracket. That piece is highly recommended when using the y8 intake manifold because with out it, using a y7, z6 , etc , bracket will put the throttle cable at a steep angle, and it seems to make the throttle less smooth. You can always fab your own bracket also.
