just want to know if anyone has tryed the BBK intake manifold. how is it compared to a skunk2 or type R
it looks so much like the edelbrock and revhard unit, that i bet they are all really close. but, i would also like to know if anybody has experience with it also.

well if u look alittle close its not an exact copy the BBk has the throttle body on an angle.plus it has a 70mm opening.....and there are some other visual differences, the pendulum is not round like the victor x also the runners look a little longer than the victor x... BBk only makes this manifold for the B18c1

They copied everything and then just put their logo on it and gave it a coating.</TD></TR></TABLE>
it does have injector bungs on the back I thought.
I think they also changed runner length and plenum size just a bit.
and a bigger throttle body opening as well.
otherwise its like the edelbrock but just a bit cheaper.
and its made in the USA

what else do you guys need to know?
it should make a bit more top end powered to itr or skunk2 (pretty much the same)
if you can get one for a deal, test it out and see how it works.
there are no universal answers we can give you.
you didnt even post any specific info on your setup.

Oh, its a direct copy of the casting. Not much is different. A guy I was with asked them, and they admitted to it being a copy. If you want to know more, just IM me, I wont post the story in here.

if its a direct copy then why the the pendulm more square and the throttle turned on an angle,,,,,,,,and we just asked if anyone had used this if they had good results with it or had testd it against other manifolds.....the setup it is going to be on is a built LS/vtec turbo built to make 500 hp ......thanks

Its not on an angle.

They just reshaped the plenum, machined the TB bore larger and changed the flange so on casting bolts onto a B16 or LS head.
It'll perform the same as the Edelbrock Victor X manifold.
