Default Sport Springs Or Race Springs!??

My 90 dx hatchback has 205/40/17 's, as well as kyb adjustables all the way around. I want to lower it but dont know how low to go????

I want the bottom of my fender lips to be "sitting" on the top of my tires........

I was looking at H&R Springs but dont know wether to go with the Sport springs
(f 1.9, r 1.8)....or with the Race springs (f 2.75, r 2.00)???
So how much of a drop do I need to get the look I want???
Thanks

for that height, go w/ the race....or get some good coilover's for some adjustability...

I have arospeed coil-overs on right now, and the ride sucks......thats why Im switching to springs......
Is the ride on H&R race springs and 17's going to be just as bad???
I heard the H&R sport springs offer a good ride, but I hate fender gap......
So the verdict is race springs???????

I personallyhave rode on both and the ride quality out of the race and sport are pretty good, although with 17's the race will be a lil harsh but dont shy from the sports cause their drop after they settle is actually a little lower than the specs say. I say get the Sports and run them with your adjustable shocks and you will be happy.

Nuespeed race springs will have you sitting about 1/4~3/8 off of the tire in the front and 3/8~1/2 in the back...good ride too

I have H&R Race and Bilstein combo. It sits pretty nice but be aware of the stiffness. It is by far the stiffest car I have ever sat in.

If you are refering to my car, I have 15" with 195/55-15. Planning to get 205/50-15 Falken Azenis tomorrow. If everything goes as planned, I will post the picture tomorrow evening. In addition, I have ordered TEIN upper pillowball mount b/c I don't think the stock mount will last. Once I have installed it, the picture will be posted as well.

Well, I ended up getting the Race H&R's and the heighth is just where I wanted it. I put all my KYB's to setting "1" and the ride is fine. Way better than my coil-overs. Thanks for everyones' suggestions and input.................

I have Neuspeed Sport Springs and I like them a lot, they lower you just enough so that the nasty fender gap is gone.
