2.39 is a horrible 60ft

That car is capable of a 15.2 or 15.3 if you knew how to launch.

I think the times are decent. Good job. 2.3 60' on the stock tires (or similar) is okay. It all depends on how the track is.

What exactly is the proper way to launch?

god damn wtf are you smoking?

launching is the hardest part, and what really makes your time. since b16 is a torqueless motor I would say rev it to like 4,500 rpms (if it's a stock clutch) and quickly let it out until you feel the car starting to launch (not burning tires or nothing), and then dump it. Hard to explain you need to slip it that way you use the upper powerband all the way thru but you are not burning tires while you are doing it.

when I ran stock with my Si, I ran a 16.1 with a 2.6 60ft at some garbage track. I ran a 15.7 with a 2.3 60ft, i/e though. It's hard launching with the stock clutch, it's a either a real good launch or a horrible one, there is no in between.
