Default Couple questions I have on my new turbo setup

I took it out for the first drive tonight on it's basemap and after some low RPM driving I did a WOT in 2nd gear and into 3rd, through the whole run my boost gauge didn't read any boost it stayed below 0... I didn't hear my BOV, and I haven't driven the car in about a month or so and i've been driving around a GMC Jimmy so I can't really remember how it used to pull to compare but I mean I can hear the turbo winding sound even it 4th gear at like 40-50mph but I don't know why my boost gauge isn't reading any boost. I have the boost gauge vaccum line T'd into the FPR vaccum line. I have the side vaccum of my Tial wastegate going to the turbo(I used the banjo style bolt fittings that came with the Tial wastegate to hook these together) and I left the top port of the wastegate open. When I put those banjo style fittings on, do the holes that go through the bolt have to line up with the barb fitting opening? Anyway I used the same size vaccum hose that I used on the FPR to the intake manifold for the wastegate to the turbo. I T'd the BOV into this hose:

with the same size vaccum hose that I used for the FPR as well, it was extremely hard to fit the small hose over the big fitting on the 1g DSM BOV(could the small hose be a problem?).

Does it sound like I have everything hooked up ok? Any reason why I don't seem to see any boost?

I figured it would, I bought some custom piping that doesn't quite fit all together very well... i guess i'll be taking it to a muffler shop tomorrow to get some bends fixed or remade.

but the way I have everything plugged in seems ok? having that small vaccum hose isn't a problem for the BOV is it? What my question on those banjo style vaccum fittings?
