engine bay painting??
OK I'm looking to get my car painted and I really want to get the engine bay painted. Would I have to take the whole motor out or could they pretty much get all of it just moving stuff around? this may seem like a dumb question but I really don't know
Thanks in advance

Yes, I had my car repainted (complete color change), and the motor was left in.

Well I didn't get a price quote for what it would cost to have the bay painted as opposed to not having it painted, but it's only logical that it would cost more since they're doing more painting.
One thing I didn't mention was I had my engine bay painted black (car itself was painted blue), the guy said that painting it black would be cheaper because he would have to primer the bay for the blue, and could just spray the black on.
