Default Body Maintance

I recently purchased a 2005 Honda civic SI model a few days ago. I want to know what are the best products out there which can maintain the body and protect the body from getting any scratches. I looked a little closely today and examined it to see if there were any scratches and I found a really minuscule scratch one it. I'm a little ticked off because I just got this car and only to find a tiny scratch. What kind of wax should I use? I know there are alot out there to choose but I'm not sure which name brand is better. Can any body give any suggestions? I notice that no matter how brand new the car is, there is always tiny scratches on the body. It really depends on which lighting you see the car at. The car looks perfect during the day, but I also noticed that if you look at the car during the night with a light shinning on it, you will see a little more of the details.

turtle wax sells all kind.
I had my car scraped from bumper to bumper this summer . I applied their red heavy duty compound paste using the small polisher machine from mastercraft.I love the results but I know it will work only for superficial marks. Can't expect big result over deep scratches. I also suggest the "colorback" from turtlewax.

you can try a less abrasive swirl remover to try and get rid of that scratch; try meguiar scratch remover (found at most auto stores).

then you can protect the paint by doing the usual waxing/detailing. wash the car thoroughly, claybar it, apply klasse AIO to clean the paint, then a sealant glaze to protect it, followed by a coat of carnuba wax like P21S. this should take you the entire morning and well into the afternoon to do.
