i know i didn't get the hasport mounts. i got a b16a swap. paid 2000 for the motor, trans, ecu, mount kit w/shift linkage, axels, including shipping. jdmhondaparts.com ran a special in nov. i though it was a pretty good deal. it didn't take long for the engine to show up but the downpipe and axels weren't in the original packaging and it took a little doing to get those guys to ship the extra stuff. i might not even end up using it but i did pay for it.
I have an hasport kit that I just bought and it is not like that one pictured. It is a full billet kit, not welded like the one in those pics. I will need to take some pics and post them.

i'll take a pic today. i think i got an hcp kit, in which case i wouldn't be as upset as if it was a place racing. now i'm sure somebody will say wtf i have place racing and they work fine. but from what i have been reading on hear the way to go is hcp or hasport. is the hcp kit less than the hasport kit including the shift linkage. if it is jdmhondaparts.com and i are goingto have some words
HCP is a great kit man. Dont be upset if you got that one.....unless they charged you a grip of cash for it. I sell the kits with linkage for 410 shipped.

yeah and hasport sells their kits for 449 for the mounts and 199 for the shift linkage so by shipping me the hcp kit (without notifying me) they saved themselves at least 200 bucks. thats bullshit where did my two hundred dollars go?

I got a pretty good deal on my hasport kit....545 shipped for the mounts and linkage. Well nowhere near as good a deal as the hcp kit, i just thought i would jump on this deal and get the hasport mounts. You need to get ahold of jdmhondaparts and get a refund for that 200 bucks.

does the hcp kit act any differently than the hasport kit if you don't use the front mount that hcp provides? cause i'm thinking about a z10 kit and in the pics on their page it doesn't look like you can retain the front mount.
Yeah, I would be really mad if they charged you for the Hasport kit and you got the HCP kit. I would call them ASAP and get your money back. The Z10 kit doesnt have a provision for the front mount, but I am modifying my Z10 kit when it gets here. I had them send it to me without the powerder coating for easier welding possiblities. Let me know if you are interested in getting a kit from Z10.

FYI: yes its not the hasport kit, as some people know hasport mount kits were on back order for a month. if you are not happy w/ the HCP kit contact me and ill exchange the kit for the hasport.

If you ask me...none of them are perfect. I hope to start production on a new mount kit that will be the end-all-be-all.
Anyways, here are pictures of my place kit. No rear tranny bracket in these pics, and I didn't really take pictures JUST of the kit..so whatever. Here they are.
