Hobart Hanlder 140 VS. Lincoln SP135T
I've narrowed my choices of a new mig welder down to these two. Its way more than i wanted to spend but i've let myself buy into the propaganda that it should be worth it down the road
My only problem is that I can't decide which one of these to buy. I'm leaning toward the Hobart because of the the features and opinions on the net. However i have a good friend who's a prolific welder and he swears by lincoln's.
So what would you choose? And why if you care to explain.

I have the Lincoln 135. I got a good deal on it and have been very happy. I've only run about 40lbs or wire through it. welds like the day I got it. I know this will always be a useful machine to have around even after I get my TIG. It's so damn convenient

i have used both and again the handler 140 all the way. the handlers are miller made basically.... can't beat 140amp on 115v house hold outlet.

I've had the 135 handler for a few years now and never had any problems, it was a lot of money at the time but it was worth it.

Well guys i wound up buying a Lincoln Pro-Mig 175 from Lowes. It came with a free stand and has a mail in rebate for a free grinder and wasn't a whole lot more expensive than the st135 or hh140 but it has more amps.
I hope it winds up being a good welder; we're going to have to run new wire to our 220v plug because the puny wire to it now isn't strong enough.
