Default S2000 motors

since the sk2 has a F series motor, wouldnt you be able to swap it into an accord or something like that but use a different tranny, cause i know the B and D series and stuff has interchangable things so is it like that with the F series

Last time I checked

S2000 = INLINE 4

Accord = not Inline, but I guess you could mod it to hell to make the F20c fit

I've seen a AE86 with a F20 in it, so anything is possible.

It's still an inline 4, the s2k is longitudinal, the accord is horizontal.

I can be done with enough money, but it will be too ghetto to swap it in an accord.

Why? would be my question...TONS of money on various fabrication parts (not to mention the engine itself)...fabrication of the underbody of the accord, engine bay...etcetcetc...for just a little more power than the H22 provides in the accord and RWD...in the end the accord would probobly look kinda funny, you'd be in debt probobly over $10,000 (easily) and running 14's in the quarter (since given your wanting to do this to an accord and the nature of your quesiton, that was about the only type of racing i could imagine you wanting to do with it)...

You do realize the S2000 is rwd right? That would probobly save alot of typing...im guessing no. (or perhaps its your lack of knowledge that the accord is FF)

i guess i didnt explain myself right....yes i realize the s2k is rwd and the acord is ff......i know some accords has F series motors in them, just like the s2k, i was trying to ask somethign like...couldnt you persay put an F series accord head on an s2k bottom end or something, thats waht i meant by interchangable like the B and D series motors

Go look at them...and it will answer your question. Also, check out the different specs of the engine, that will most likely answer your question without even having to go out in the cold to look at the very visable differences between the 2 engines.

Here's the smartest answer on here....Why would you even bother? Put turbo in the damn thing and watch your shiet fly.

^^^^^ Well maybe in the Dirty South where you live, but in California it's a whole different story. Why would ANYONE waste their money using an S2000 motor in an Accord is beyond me. It won't even fit.

So my geographic location changes the facts in this situation? Interesting...

I never said i thought the engine idea was a good one...i was simply mocking your reply to him. And it will fit...you could put a Lambo V12 in there with enough money and time...lord knows how it would look when you were done but it is possible. You could also blast it into outer space if your pockets were deep enough.

But then again...those things might only be possible in the "Dirty South"...i couldnt say for sure all over the world.

Well last time i checked, turboing the stock motor would be the practical, logical, and not OVERTLY STUPID option, so yeah, the answer to your question is no it cant be dont easily or cheaply, or else it would be. But Im assuming u know that seeing as u dont see many, so i dont even understand why you asked. I mean with enough money anything is possible, hell it only took $20 to get my ex to take it IDB but i mean, in the end, do the smart thing and go with the option that makes the most sense.
