It's around $350 shipped for both. I am looking into some comfortable seats for street/light autoX usage.
Thoughts? It's either these, or stick with stock seats.
I can't pay $1,000 for 2 Sparco seats that'll probably get stolen.

They do not look too bad, not much padding...probably slightly uncomfortable after a while, but that should be obvious.
And the universal sliders

I don't know how many of these I'll see and say this in every single one.
DON'T BUY A SEAT YOU CAN'T SIT IN BEFORE YOU BUY IT! An uncomfortable seat will make you hate your car and there's no reason for it. What's a great seat to me, you might not like.

Alot of the "APC toddlers" where I live [and I'm not bagging on u when I say that] have these types of seats. They look good and at first feel pretty good as well. As time goes by, and not a lot of it, they begin to tear up and become very uncomfertable. I urge y to save ur $ and buy some quality used seats or a set of oem seats - u will be much happier in the long run.

I don't think those will pass tech inspection if there is one.

not to hijack the thread, but what about some tenzo r seats. They sell the type r (recaro style) seats, and they're like 500-600 for a pair. I wish they didn't have the logo but they look nice. Just wondering if those would hold up. Anyone w/ any experience of those seats. Otherwise, I'll probably have to get some leather gsr's or just some other DA seats.

As usual I will go ahead and suggest del sol seats. I have them and I love them, and I'm pretty sure you will too.
i doubt they would protect you if you crash. they look ultra low quality. just my opinion. save money and wait, but used sparcos, seats are on here often, or look at some memory fab seats, not too expensive
good luck

The problem is safety. A reason they do not allow cheap seats in competition such as D1 is that in the case of an accident, these seats can snap in half where it reclines.
Yea they're nice and all but as how everybody just told you in the long run they aint gonna be **** and your prolly end up putting your stocks back on. save some money and get good ones.

Sounds good fellas. I guess I'll either buy a used Sparco Torino (or 2 if the $$ supply allows it) in the future or pick up some ITR seats from my local buddy.
