Default JIC Titanium & Tanabe Hyper Medallion

ok, so i've narrowed down to these two exhausts for the 2001 S2K. just curious of what you experts think of the JIC titanium single exhaust, and the tanabe HM.

how loud are both exhausts?

what would you all prefer for a daily driver?

i know the Ti exhaust is lighter, but do you all feel much difference when driving by having a Ti exhaust over a stainless steel?

and any other contributions about the 2 exhausts would be greatly appreciated.

well, we can't tell you how the exhuasts are without knowing your current set up and goals. if the exhaust is the only mod so far, go with whichever's sound you can live with. you don't want a loud one with a daily driver unless thats your thing.

well currently, no mods yet. i really want something quiet, but i'd thought to start with an exhaust. eventually, i'll go FI, but what do you all think i should start with?

btw, whats the lightest and quiest exhaust out there?

lightest will be a single titanium...not sure about quiet since single's are loud

if you want quiet go with fujitsubo or comptech... all the others will be loud..... but from the two exhausts you picked i would go with the jic....it sounds good..

I would go with a TI, only because it sounds sick at the track + it's lighter.

If your worried about sound, just have someone make a Silencer for it. PM Tinker, he's awesome at make stuff. Look at this RWD H22 Delsol, badass work

The Hyper is NOT a single and it is actually NOT loud compared to alot of the exhaust out for the s2k. I would say get whichever one you prefer, In my case the TI would be the way to go since it is alot lighter than Steel.

BTW JIC has major customer issues.

light and quiet don't go together....since the lightest ones out there are single and titanium.

if you want something lighter than stock, and quiet, Mugen, Fujistubo, and Amuse Dual are ones to consider.

I had a JIC also...its a very light exhaust and sounds really clean up top. If you can afford it, definitely go for it.

If the Tanabe is the n1 style lookin one than personnally i think it looks funny, it might be a good exhaust but it don't look good, i say the JIC, plus its titanium

The tanabe hyper medallion isn't as loud as the jic exhaust. i currently own a tanabe hyper medallion. now that i have a daily driver, im trying to sell my hyper medallion to get a JIC exhaust. the tanabe is perfect for a daily driver car.

shoot me an email if you're interested in my tanabe hyper medallion exhaust.

Since this is about exhaust, didnt really want to start a new thread, what are your comments on the Mugen Sports Exhaust for an 04, Im pretty much looking for a good quality dual ehxaust that sounds nice and looks agressive. Does anybody here have one or seen and heard it on an S? Thats the one im looking at, is it worth the preice? Thanks
