Default What do you guys think about this set up?

I have 2k1 GSR and think about doing this set up.
b18c5 head
Jun II intake cam ITR exhaust cam
Skunk2 intake mani.
and Zex or nos. I can get most of these parts cheap when I got to the Phillopines

you are lowering your compression to about 9.8-1 by doing this. (very similar to what my setup was before) but it should work out for the better just dont get rev happy under pressure
i just personally dont know enough about the jun cams to tell you a personal experiance or anything i am not sure if they are good with juice but from what ive been told from people the jun cams are a tuners's nightmare

why even get a type r head? you are replacing the intake cam anyways, and the exaust cam is about the same anyways, just keep your gsr head, and save the money.

better flow with the ITR head, Words of advice Zex Sucks almost everybody i know who has ran Zex has blown there engine there product sucks. U have to change your oil a whole lot more with Nitros too lol about every 500 miles or so if u use it alot. in my opionin stay away from nitros just go all motor with the Jun cams

since you got yourself a new head.......spend the 1000 on getting your gsr head ported and polished by a reputable shop!

instead of the 1000 for a new type R head....then get a thinner headgasket to raise the compression alittle

and do your little thing with the jun2 and nos

if you do put on the ITR head then get a spoon head gasket, you can get either the "double" which rasies CR .2 or the "single" which rasies it .4, http://www.inlinefour.com has the best deal i have found on em

No N2O... instead of b18c5 head - get JDM ITR or CTR pistons - don't forget valvesprings, header (spoon, toda, SMSP, hytech, DC JDM)... lose the nitrous and your setup sounds good
