Well my Mom got me a new helmet for christmas. Opened it up and changed the sheild today.

Are you saying they are loud?

Yeah we used to have a lot of complaints with Icon helmets. The tabs that hold on the visor would break. Lots of wind would get through the helmet irratating people and making lots of noise and freeway+ speeds. Hopefully they've fixed these problems since then and you dont have them.

At any rate, NICE helmet. Now save for an ARAI

 

ICON is a good company. anyone seen their gold plated riding gloves? its the 'bling' glove. lol. they look pretty funny. nice helmet! ( you seen teh CF helmets they make now either?)

Guess it's time to toss my Arai out in the trash, I'm heading to get my ICON right NOW!!!!

if you put your head in an hjc, which plenty of people do. you should have no problem putting your head in an icon. hjc makes icon. i have an icon helmet,but plan on upgrading to a shoei becuase my i ride more aggresivly now.

there is nothing wrong with wearing an icon or hjc. its just what you prefer. i.e. color or graphics, comfort,venting,etc. i was close to buying an icon but i just saved and worked overtime to buy a shoei and arai cause i like how they fit and like their graphics. but there is no sense of flaming his thread for posting his helmet. nice helmet by the way. atleast he has the sense to wear an helmet and not like be the "COOL" riders or stunters that dont wear any gear at all.
