I am seriously considering this mod (either spoon or JDM), but i haven't seen to many 99-00 Si's doing this Mod. I know the ATS 4.9 is popular among the ITR crowd, but I think it might be overkill for me. Does anyone have any insight?

Yea ive been in the discusion over in the ITR forum about the FD. I am planning on getting the Quaife for my Si when I get enough $. If I do get the LSD, while im in there I was also planning on getting the ATS FD. If I had a 1.8, i would most likley JDM, but for our no torque bitch asses ATS would be more benefitial.

 

IF you can cruise @ 4800rpms at 80MPH...then the ATS is for you. otherwise, JDM all the way.

 

So what parts do i need to install the jdm final drive? what seems to be the going rate for the parts and install?

Your going to need a new half shaft, 1st gear and some needle bearings and such. There is a total of 6 parts including the FD you will need. God has the kit on his site for $475.

 

for the ATS or JDM??? I remember the ATS going for 700

 

So will the jdm final drive kit fit my car?

ATS ~$700- $800

I doubt it...its for a Type R
