Damn that sucks. Who's the lucky guy?
I don't know how i'd feel about my wife being that much faster then me.
But her paycheck would keep me in my Honda so I guess it's all good.

How old is she? When did he start seeing her? Maybe we can get him thrown in jail for sex with a minor !

I know people who have met her and they say she is "stone cold" in demeanor. Guess she will make a good racer

She's every guys dream. She's nice looking, she's fast, she'll earn millions, and check the picture below (in a Ferrari suit !!!!!)

Regards,

Jon

I saw the report on Speed News. There was a brief interview with her. I almost couldn't stand to watch it. Came across as very unlikeable, I'd like to see her do well but I think her fans will either be lust-struck or feminazi.

She came across as ALMOST rude on that speed interview. "stone cold" would be a nice way of saying it.

I think she said something like "it's nice to be around people who speak english"

I was like wtf ...I dunno it just didn't seem like the best thing to say.

uhhhm but she did look good Better than she does on that spike tv show of hers.

I understand her attitude, it's probably a result of the environment she's trying to do well in, but I still don't like her much as a "personality." Maybe she's nicer to those close to her than she is to the public, I'd respect that more than someone who treats the public like her family and her family like her doormat.

I think her personality is hot. I like aggression and ambition in women, because it means they are more likely to not want kids. The whole going to the IRL and the marrying a 39 year old are pretty big turnoffs though.

I think that is a lot of it. In trying to prove that she belongs out there, she has a permanent chip on her shoulder. I'm sure the same reporters asking the guys about the cars and the tracks are asking her if the 5 points hurt her ***** or not. Actually I wouldn't mind knowing the answer.

That Tommy Kendell story is great though. According to her, it was his idea!

Don't hate the IRL, they are doing road courses next year. Danica at Watkins Glen. Ahhhhhhh! Oh, and you wouldn't feel that way if you were the 39 year old!

A couple years ago I saw her walkind through the paddock of Mid Ohio when she was with Rahal in the Barber Pro Series. She was wearing her driving suit and looked omfg hot!

I just wish she would've told me she started seeing other guys while she's been out of the central Ohio area....

Danica is overrated she had the equipment to do well in Toyota Atlantic, and was mid pack out of 14 people. I would rather see Sarah Fisher as she seems to be the better racer but can't seem to land a ride, because she doesn't sell the sex appeal. If you saw FHM Danica, she obviously uses what she got, none the less nice to see a new face in IRL

I hate the IRL because even with CART/Champ Car's incompetence, they still haven't proven they have a clue how to run a successful racing series. When Toyota leaves and Honda follows, Tony George is going to be in deep ****.

Are you high? Danica finished third in the Toyota Atlantics points this year. Granted she isn't on the level of Dalziel or Fogarty, but she was about the "best of the rest." And Sarah Fisher just plain sucks. She can't drive road courses, and she has has very poor ability when it comes to full tank runs. Ever notice how she'll qualify midpack (or sometimes higher) and then fall straight to the tail end of the field within 3 laps?

I beg to differ. Danica came in second at the Formula Ford festival in England a few years back, beating current F3 championship contender (and now BAR F1 Honda tester) Anthony Davidson on a track she had never seen before.

She and Fisher have similar backgrounds as both dominated the World Kating Assoc. scene for most of the 90's (Both won a half dozen kart titles). But Fisher went on to sprint cars where she was very good but never won a title. She then jumped immediately to IRL.

Patrick competed in several UK open wheels series which have much more competition than what Fisher faced here in the US. Patrick raced in Formula Renault, Fomula Vauxhal, Formula Zetec and other series.

She made her name when she came in 2nd at the famous UK Ford Festival, a higher finish than any other American including Mario and Danny Sulivan,

She also raced in ALMS with the Pro Drive team and did lap times equal to F1 reject Tomas Enge and the rest of the Pro Drive regulars.

She'd kick Sarah Fisher's a$$ on a road course.

Sarah Fisher was a great karting champion but beyond that (her last title in any series was in 1994 in karts) she hasn't proven she belongs at the top rung of professional racing.

Just my armchair opinion.

Cheers,

Jon

It's going to be a banner year for female racers, with Erin Crocker being signed to a development program with Evernham Motorsports.

From what I understand, she is a very fast short track racer. Should be interesting to see how she does in NASCAR.

The best chance a woman has ever had in NASCAR and its because of talent. She has won races in a WoO car. Ford wanted her, Dodge got her. I'm more impressed with her than ANY driver who is stepping up in 2005. She may be a female Ryan Newman, not like he is any good or anything.

Any other IRL rookies confirmed for 2005? Also, what's up with Mo Nunn's (or should I say Kate Nunn's) IPS team? Is he gonna keep one or both of the Chesson boys or will Nunn run two of the women that tested for them in the off-season?

I have to find pics...the women who tested for Nunn are nice.

From what I heard, Chesson is moving elsewhere, up into the Indy cars. I think that the IPS team is dead, no sponsorship.
