Default ECHC @ VIR Feb. 18-20

I know it is early, but it is only about 2 months away now, so who is planning on attending? I'll be there in there in H5, doing the sprint races, not the enduro.

I'll be there, freezing my butt off, taking photos, writing up a race summary, etc

Planning on being there.

I just need time to get the car ready... work has been so busy that my car is in the same state as just driven off the track in November

I'll do it if my car is ready by then. The ball joints I need are back ordered...

I will be there in H5. Probably no changes to my car.

It is only 3 hours away, for me!

Keith, who can't translate that into the number of gallons of gas in my tow vehicle...

I don't think the NSX will be ready by then. Parts are hard to find, and doing the cage with the mid engine is pain in the ***.

That is cool, do you think it will be done for you to race in '05? Wasn't sure how big of a priority it was since you still have the hatch. See you at VIR!

So only the one April Mid Ohio date? So much for the HC showdown being an annual thing there!

In talking with Lawrence Mansier who is the Region Director for OH/IN, Mid-Ohio has elected to join the August Grand Am Cup event with the Triple Crown Tuner Challenge and make one event out of it. I guess there is a chance that there may be a support race or races open with the Grand Am Cup, but this would be for AI/AIX/CMC and GTS only. In the OH/IN region, Honda Challenge is no where near as big as the ECHC or WCHC, so we wouldn't be included in the support race or races.

I know that LM wants to get a spectator event at Mid-Ohio for 2006 back on the OH/IN schedule, but our region will need to grow as a whole to make this happen. Hopefully, with the emergence of the new Midwest Region we can attract more racers to our regions and be able to make a spectator event a reality, thus allowing for another HC National.

Sorry for the bad news,
Sam

Not sure why, but the June 11-12 date is going to be a very busy weekend, as all three regions have something scheduled. NASA-VA will be at Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit, NASA-SE will be at Rockingham, and NASA-OH/IN will be at BeaveRun.

Just an observation. So, where are most of you guys going to go that weekend? I'll be at BeaveRun.

Ut-toh

Looks like I might have to join NASA.

An SM race at Putnam would be fun, I wager.
