I just got my Christmas gift a little late. JDM Final Drive, TODA Flywheel and clutch combo. Does anybody know a good shop to install it? Thanks

Try South Florida Performance( http://www.sfp.net/ ). I had my SAFC install/tuned there with very good results.

Drive across the alley to Naples and have Josh at Topspeed do it, he has done Mike K's FD and does excellent work at a pretty good deal.

you don't want to try it yourself? IM Asspenny and see if he wants to do it...we can work on it at my house if you want, just take a weekend to do it...

I'm game if he is...well, it'd pretty much have to be this weekend, b/c next weekend is the dyno and I am not going to have too much time anymore...

We've never done it, but we are going to be buying them shortly (ie, when I get some money) drop him a line and let me know...as long as you bring the beer and food, labor's free

BTW, does the person who bought that for you want to buy another? I want the same setup, well, w/ the ATS FD instead...

I'd love to get it in this week, but I don't think I'd be able to break in the clutch and all by next weekend so I can get a few good dyno pulls at the Type R meet.

well, you'd get more than half of the breaking in on the trip to the dyno, it's about 250 miles just to get there...as far as I would say, 500 miles should be fine to break it in....

John Brown Racing. Call me at 561 921 0472. I guarantee best prices and top notch tuning and installation. Call me tomo and ask for Sherbaz.. Dude, the guy produced 500+hp @wheel using vafc and 370's. If u want it the right way , let John tune the car and install everything for you. Proven Perforamance.. I am most likely going to the dyno meet aswell and I can get ya there aswell.. Give me a call..

wernt you offering VAFC's for $375, yea those are the best Prices... what a hook up, im not dissing john Brown, sure he built the castrol civic, to bad the motor was shot after every run, i have met him in person, and like him, but this is a friendly web board, not a sales center

He wants A clutch, and Final Drive put in, so why would the amount of HP he can produce matter

On TurboR's side: He did ask for some place that could install the parts, that's like asking "Who has a JDM FD in stock that I can buy?", you know that Mike and Dave, etc will reply with "I have one, call me" (assuming they have one).

On your side, I agree that JB is crazy expensive and I'm sure they would not be the cheapest place to get this install done. I also agree that Sherbaz's car's HP needs not be included in the ad, it's not like that was JUST a vafc and 370cc injectors I'd still suggest he do it himself if he has a helms, bearing puller and a friend and two hammers, but I digress

A Vise (john might have one at the shop) is helpful. Gear/bearing puller, two big fuggen hammers..

Great!! Beers are on me. What do I need to bring besides the beer, parts, oil and the car? I just want to make sure I have all the parts needed for the install. I have the pressure plate, clutch, flywheel, JDM first gear, countershaft, final drive, two halves of what appears to be a bearing and a metal, circular, collar looking piece.
