Okay, heres the story. I own a 1991 Accord EX. Lately, I've been having problems with my engine and starting the car. Everything from dying while driving, shaking while in reverse, and continuous cranking without starting. Now, the question is, should i sell the car and get another, or keep it and fix it? And if I were to purchase another car, which would you all recommend, priced under 15K if possible. Thanks!!

sorry to all the 6th geners...but there are a few better choices imo, especially staying within the honda family......if its just gonna be daily driven, than thats one thing...but there soo damn heavy....sorry if i offended you dave, or 7head.....
i'll be the first to admit my '99 is heavy as hell compared to say, civics, and early model accords... but compared to the last prelude, the 4cyl is really only about 100 to 150 pounds heavier. either way, i love driving the damn thing. and of course, it's the daily driver.
although plans for turbo (only want about 225whp) are in the works.

You'd be surprised with the kind of problems i've endured...
But to everyone...Thanks for the ideas, but if you want, keep them coming. I want to stick with the Honda/Acura family!!!

Do you want to learn how to fix the problems? It seems to me that selling the car because you are having a few problems with it is a lame excuse. Not very handy if you ask me......
