Are white rims really that difficult to keep clean?
I have a white car and I like the white rims look, but if it means having to clean it every day, then I'm not so sure about it.
Just want your thoughts - especially you guys with the CW ITRs with the stock white rims.

Not too bad.
I had white wheels on my 94 coup and they were a Biatch to keep clean.
My ITR wheels (CW) however seem to stay cleaner.
Alot of it has to do with your pads and where you live. I'm assuming you have alot of rain.

If you tear around and are using the brakes a lot they will get dirty quickly. They are easy to clean up.You will just have to clean them more frequently.

The secret is waxing the painted part of the wheels.

The stockers on the ITR were not too bad. The worst part is the chips and such. The dirt is no where as noticeable as those...

My white wheels look gunmetal most of the time from brake dust, and I only have the Hawk HPS pads. Most pads are worse for brake dust. I hate cleaning the damn things, but I guess some wheels would be worse. My race tires are mounted on gunmetal OEM wheels, and the brake dust isn't as bad.
Keep the CW's for the track - run gunmetal & HP+ on the street...it looks more aggressive, brakes better, & hell - gunmetal looks like it's covered in brake dust anyway!!
