Oil leak/burn(searched, not right answers)
my g/f has a 90 accord ex, pretty stock, i/h/e only
the oil has been burning/leaking at about 1 quart in less than 100 miles. there is oil being burned, but only under certain conditions, usually when the engine downshifts during a turn, or sometimes when starting from a stop. also, i took a bolt out of the timing belt cover and it had oil on it.
so basically, burning a little, but alot is leaving the engine. doesn't burn all the time, leak in the timing belt area. what do you guys/girls think the problem is?

Fron main seal.
Have someone rev it up to 2000 and look under the front of the engine for oil dripping down. If front main seal is starting to go it might only leak oil when the pressure is high. I had a 89 Accord that did that. Might as well do the timing belt/water pump while your at it.
