Hey guys. I've been lurking around hondatech for quite some time, but now I've got a good reason to post. One of my friends just got a 95 del Sol Si, and in attempt to put his temp plate somewhere visible, he accidentally dropped it between the rear glass and the rear plastic trim (down in the cavity where the rear glass rolls down!). What the easiest way to retrieve this? I'm not familiar with the del Sol interior and don't have access to a helm's manual, so any input it appreciated.

 

Just thought I would give an update for anyone else that might screw up like this. Getting a license plate out of the rear glass well is no doubt a BIG job. (I should have known that there was a reason Honda quoted 150 bucks to do it). After about 4 hours and a trip to the Honda dealer to take a peak at their helm's manual, we finally retrieved the plate. All the interior behind the seats has to come out. Then there is a big plate with weather sealer that opens up to the well the rear window rolls down into. So don't drop stuff down in there folks.

 

That sounded like a pain in the ***, 4 hours for that.
