LS/V IN 93 DX COUP
What's up?i am new to socal, and need some help. im also looking to meet people who won't **** me over with my project. my question is this. i am now running ls-v fully built. head is complete jg pro series w/cam gears. Block is b18b, but with GSR crank, crower pro billlet rods and 12.5 j/e (not daily driver). I have appropriate bolt ons as well. I fucked up my h22/turbo setup because people I trusted informed me that my redline was 8K! by the time i learned my redline was only 6.8k, motor was fucked. no compression any cylinders! So here is my question. How high can I run this ls-v rpm wise? I have all arp goodies as well as o-ringed block. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx!
why dont you go get it dyno tuned and make sure it is getting enough fuel and air and see what rpm it makes power to. With good valvetrain, you can probably rev it to 9500 or so without messing anything up, but it will probably only make power to about 9000
thanx for the input! motor is still new and not broken in. i forgot to mention i have type r oil and water pump. also im on reprogram with vafc2. will this be enough? im running walbro 255 and fpr, but also have inline pump as well. thanz again for input!
sweet! will this thing run on 91 or will i need race gas? it isn't a daily driver, but many people i know here talk ****, and i want to do them dirty! already spanked my boy's awd talon with 16g, d/p, fmic, and other stuff. he was not a happy camper, especially because i took his gas money! but now this guy wants a crx and he too wants ls-v too.
