2003 Coupe EX V6
I just bought a used EX V6 Coupe (it's great!) but I've been wondering about just one thing----it doesn't have power passenger seats (4-way) as I've seen in many reviews/specs online suggesting it does. I didn't ask the dealer because at the time I thought the passenger seat was manual but now I'm wondering after reading more specs on the vehicle.
Also, the user manual is for an Accord SEDAN, specifically (not 'Coupe'). Haven't asked the dealer about this either (just discovered this the other day when looking more closely at the manual).
So these are just a couple of things I'm wondering about (even more so the power seat for the passenger). Is it possible that the EX V6 COUPE doesn't have the power passenger seat whereas the EX V6 SEDAN does? Just wanted confirmation on this to make sure that somehow/someway my Accord's power passenger seat was omitted during assembly? Can't imagine that would be the case... but then again...?
Thanks.

I've got a 2004 Coupe EX V6 - w/ Nav
The passenger seat is manual. Same setup in the previous generation coupe. I think they do that so motors don't get messed up when passengers get in/out of the backseat

I'm not sure , but it may be to give quick acccess to the rear of the car.Imagine lots of rain, you're in a rush, you need to get passengers into the back seat... you get the idea. It's so you don't have to wait for the seat to slowly slide forward, then jump into the rear or the car, then sloooowly slide backward again... all the time being soaked by large rain drops... just my opinion, but i really have no idea.
Just to let you know - the BMW 3 series 2 door has fully agustable electric front pass seat, and still has quick access - when you pull the lever to get to the rear, the whole saet lifts up and forward in one smoothe motion...so it is possible to have both, but Honda doesn't.

No, i don't think that BMW's have "slightly better features". I Know that they have WAY superior features. Hands Down... 2003 BMW 330i makes my 2003 Accord Feel like just an "ok" car. I could, but won't, list a page full of features that the BMW has more than the Honda. But take into account the price differance... It better have more features.
Quick Story: I own my own business doing mobile auto detailing. One of my customers just got a 2005 BMW 545i Sport. After driving it, and seeing it, when I got home I told my wife about it, and how it made the Honda (which I love...other wise I wouldn't be on a forum talking about the thing) feel like crap. She said that she like the Honda and didn't want to trade it for anything....as if I could afford to trade it for a nearly $60,000 car.
Moral of the Story - No, They are not in the same class- I was just saying that some vehicles do have both electric seats, and "quick access" to the rear seats. -case in point - the BMW.

And yes, the new RL is amazing... That car is unbelievable. Honda/acura has come a long way.

Right, I know... however, I haven't seen/driven the RL yet. So I have no comparison basis. I was just telling a little story...bored one evening. Typing away at the keys. But now you guys got me interested in the RL, I'm going to have to visit acura.com( http://www.acura.com/index.asp?bhcp=1 ), and go do a little reading up. I always have liked the TL, may as well check out the RL...
