hey i was wondering if a d16z6 distrubutor would fit on a d16y8 head with d16z6 cam in it. i just wanna make sure thank

 

Has nothing to do with the cam. The distributor bolt pattern is different. You will have to grind the mount holes to make it fit, then the dist. really won't be able to adjust. If you have an OBD1 car with a Y8 head on it, just get any D16 OBD2 dist and replace the internals from your Z6 dist into the OBD2 housing, so the plug will be the right one and it will bolt up properly.
