I bought a JDM H22A and it turns out that it was a Automatic befor I got it. A friend said that they had 20 HP less than the manual trans. H22's. I know that it loses power through the drivetrain but Im just using the motor, no tranny. How much HP should I have at the crank?

 

rated the same at the crank as manuals. The TB will probably be 2mm smaller than manual though.

 

an auto longblock(still had the flex plate on it)) i picked up had the same size throttle body as my manual swaps.

 

htey are the same as 5spd h22

my auto put down 165hp/135tq with intake, greddy header and exhaust. (this was with the auto tranny as well)
