do they even make benen style tow hooks?

and how come i see ppl selling for 100++ when on their own webpage it saids 89.99

 

cuz they arent in production anymore.

 

where could i get some style towhooks then? cus i been parking at work where i shouldnt be cus thats where all the cameras are

 

I've never really understood a point of a tow hook. Can someone please explain this to me please?

 

simple, it provides an easy point for towing. i'm pretty sure the style originated from race cars being towed easier. most tow trucks aren't too forgiving on lowered cars either. as with most racing products, some people use them today just for looks/bling.

Exactly. If your vehicle isn't a track car, the hooks are just bling.

 

just bling? well if your car is slamed and got tow'd wouldnt the tow truck **** it up cus its to low?

 

I had a brand new set of benen tow hooks, and they do look pretty gangsterish on my car and my friends ek, but no point since i only have a street car so i sold them....with in 10 minutes, i had about 25 pm's of people wanting them..i believe I ended up selling them for $95..pretty crazy if you ask me
