Default Advice on manual tranny swap

Hello all, i'm new to the website. I actually drive a domestic, but I was going to help my friend swap a manual tranny into his accord. It's a '94 Accord EX. Any advice or anything special i need to know before doing this? I was wondering if it would be a direct fit, or if there is anything with the computer that I need to know. Also, how hard is this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot guys.

Dan

do a search theres lots of threads achived on this.

the tranny is a direct fit. you dont have to bother with the ecu, just disconnect and take out the tcu and leave the ecu alone. just make sure the gear selector(switch) is left in park.
