no, it won't pass. Buy a new cat and bolt it on, then you can pass. You will become a 'member' in 2 or so weeks automatically.

I dont think that it will pass. Basically you just have a homemade straight pipe. Just go get a high flow cat and youll be sure to pass, unless there is something else wrong with your car.

no cat. no pass. the cat is used to filter out pollutants and the muffler is used muffle the exhaust sound.

Well, it will pass visual inspection most likely since it looks like a cat is there, but it will fail once they hook it up to the machine.

Im a cetified Emissions Inspector for Georgia.

To whoever said its impossible to pass, that is incorrect.

I have actually seen where vehicles without catalitic converters HAVE passed tailpipe readings.

Even though they passed the test, the did however fail the visual, and didnt walk out with their sticker that day. They need a physical catalyst Just to please the epa, EVEN if your car was perfect

For whatever reason, The vehicle was running very clean. But Honda/acura have always ran on the rich side, and i seriously doubt you will pass without a catalyst.

so get one and run it, then take it off

the exhaust pipping and muffler are not emission controlled devices. anything after the cat doesnt matter for the sniffer test. You will not pass in CA with a hollow cat. Even trying to pass with a high flow cat is 50/50 in CA. I failed everytime with a high flow cat till i put the stock one back on

YES! Japanese cars are smog legal without the Cat. The only reason why they have it is because they are forced to put it on beacuse American cars have them.

Domestic Automaker would complain if the Govt would allow imports to come in with no cat.....

Especaiilly our 1.8 integras. If Stock, it should pass with no problem.

Mine is gutted, and it passed with no problem. Not only that, I have DC header, Iceman intake, and a 2.75 catback from the header to the muffler.

its N/A so yeah, im loosing a lot of low end torque
