Default Axel Problem

I have a B16a in a 98 civic, I bought axels for a dual cam del sol, and the passenger side axel pops in place but is lose. It can move a little back and forth. I know its not normal at least not on my gsr. Is it possible that i could have been given the wrong one, perhaps a single cam, or would it even hold that long.
thanks

Are you saying it pops into the tranny, but is loose? Is the set ring in place?
