I dug around first and still kinda lost so a lil help would rock.
my clutch is FRIED and i've come to learn that even though my motor is mint with 147K on her, that the whole thing isn't worth replacing the clutch. so swap time *least parts*
i know the hubs are diff but if I got a cable SI tranny *L3 right?* with axels hubs brakes etc it'll bolt right up?
Can I use my light flywheel on the SI tranny?
I have a b16 wiring harness but i changed my mind on b16 and have meaner plans but that'll be a issue later so i was wondering if i got a d16a6 full swap could it be a bolt in with that harness and just let the extra wiring hang out in the bay for a bit?
Also on this d16 i might get its buring some oil but headgasket was done a bit ago what could it be piston rings and seals?
Any help would rule thanks

I did an si swap on my old std hatch... but I did it one peice at a time.
The tranny and the MPFI are what really make the difference in the swap, when I swapped blocks I could hardly tell a difference. So I'd sugest just doing the Si tranny and mpfi swap and leaving your block in as long as it's still good.
as for the hubs.. just use the std axles, they'll fit the Si tranny just fine and then you don't have to swap hubs.
Flywheel - I didn't see you mention year of your car and the Si tranny you're getting... this is important.
*If your car (flywheel) is 90-91, you'll need an 89-91 tranny to use your flywheel. Use a 90-91 clutch kit in this situation (even if the tranny is an 89)
*If your car (flywheel) is an 88-89, you can use any tranny, but you'll need an 88 clutch kit if you get an 88 tranny and a 89 clutch kit if you use an 89-91 tranny
HTH

No. with a 91 flywheel you need a 90-91 clutch kit.
the 89 clutch is 200mm, the 90-91 clutch is 212mm
just get a new clutch kit for $100 and have the peice of mind that it's not going to go out in 300 mi. causing you to have to tear it all back apart again.
