Honda Challenge Exhibition at the February NASA VIR Weekend!!!
News Flash!!!
The NASA folks have agreed to let the Honda Challenge put on an bonus "exhibition" session Saturday afternoon at VIR.
This session will be run STRICTLY under Intermediate HPDE rules and will be for Hondas only.
The following current and potential future Honda Challenge competitors will be eligible to participate:
1. HPDE Intermediate Students, Advanced Students, or Instructors (absolutely NO Novices).
2. Competition School Students and Instructors
3. Enduro Competitors
Again, this is a single session that will be run under strict Intermediate HPDE rules and safety requirements. It IS NOT a race session.
This is a great opportunity for Honda Challengers to get a feel for the upcoming season and an excellent way for those planning to race in the future to get a taste of what the series will feel like from behind the wheel.

Duh, Im there! This is an excellent opportunity.. Many of the beginner drivers of the summer have moved to intermedate status, and this would make for a fun time!

when will the exhibition be run? which group will have the privilege of pitting in, and then hopping right back out on the track? The best thing would be to sandwich it between the two baby groups so all the Exhibitionists can let their cars cool down. Just a thought.

Last group on Saturday.
No more timing details available at this time, but if you are in the preceding group, nothing will be keeping you from pulling in 5 to 10 minutes early and cooling down. It's not like you'd be losing seat time since the Honda Challenge group is a bonus anyway.

If you are an intermediate student who is not signed off you will need to convince your instructor to come out with you.
