i already have the engine in w/ some cheap ebay mounts. the problem is it hangs wayyy too low, and i just put in a 4-1 header and that is very veryyy low. SO i know theres some mounts that raise it up enough that you actually have to cut the hood skeleton out for the vc to fit. what are those, because i think thats what i need.

 

I have HASport mounts, and am very happy with them.

 

how low is your crx? i wanna keep mine dumped pretty much. but i cant w/ how my engine hangs now.

 

To do it the cheap/easy way, whatever mount kit you use, just use longer bolts and washers to raise (or lower) the engine in the engine bay.

 

i thought about doin that but it seems like it would make the bolt weaker. i dont know. what are others views on this?
