The subject pretty much says it. Does anybody know when SA-05 helmets will become available? I'm replacing mine this year, and it doesn't make sense to me to get a SA-00 when the 05s should be out soon.... Thanks.

I've been hearing around October of 2005 at the earliest.

 

Talked to G-Force yesterday....They cant sell em till 10/05

What do you mean they *can't* sell them?

 

They can't sell an SA 2005 helmet until they get stickers. The specifications probably won't even be officially published until the summer, so in theory they'd have to get the specs, build the helmets, buy the stickers and then sell them. Of course they probably get the specs somewhat ahead of time but it wouldn't do to sell helmets meeting a new specification before it would be possible to even know the new specs. I think that's what "can't" means.
