Default New to the board, previous Ef rex owner

Hi, my name is Michael. I am new to the honda-Tech board, and an avid fan and tuner of Hondas/Acuras. I used to own a 1992 grey CX for 4 years. I also owned a 1989 Crx Si d16a6 auto-x car for awhile. I mainly work on Hondas and Acuras here in Atlanta, working for myself. I am hoping to broaden my horizons even further here on H-T and have noticed a bunch of useful info already. It is a pleasure to be here with you guys. Thanks

Here is just a rundown of my 92' hatch and the 89' rex that I had..........

1992 Grey CX w/ A/C

Mods:

95'LS swap

added JDM Sir II head package

JDM B16A SirII gearset w/LS final drive

Mugen chipped P28

2Ksi fuel pump

Toda flywheel

5zigen JDM cat-back (quiet )

RS teg 4-wheel disc swap

GC coilovers/ Tokico shocks

Teg front strut bar

Teg rear sway-bar

15" LS mesh wheels

95 LS front seats

99' teg charcoal carpet

short shift

ex cluster

Sir II non airbag wheel

1989 Black CRX Si

d16a6

milled/portmatched head/intake

AEM cam gear

Jet PM6 ecu

DC 4-2-1 header

Iridium plugs

NGK wires

custom 2.25" cat-back side exit w/cherrybomb

K&N cone

GC coilovers/Tockico shocks

GSR blades

gutted rear interior and A/C system

Man that car was fun to dog on!! I had about $850 into that car w/ me doing all the labor myself..... The car was free, and the parts were all used, or stuff I had.... wish I never had to sell it, bills suck!!

Anyway, I know the post was a little long, but I just wanted to reference my Lost Loved Hondas. Now I drive a 1993 4-door LX daily (yuk) and a 1993 Black RX-7 twin turbo FD3S when gas money permits (for shizzle ).

I am also a member on ImportLounge.com (as is Tom "The Legend" B18c5EH2) under the name "GearHeadMike".

Again, nice to be here and hope to gather and relay info......

Michael

Car looks good.. They're getting harder to find buy the day..
Any plans on porting the motor?
Those 13btt motors get good power from a mild street port..
or better yet a large extend port with a large single turbo..t04s,t04e,straight t4..

Oh, I won't do too much to the engine. I want it to be reliable around the circuit and hard street driving. I will stay sequential and run maybe 14 psi tops. I am only looking for 350whp out of this car. 350whp+2800lbs= fast enough for me around corners. The car already runs around high twelves with about 300bhp. I'm putting a nice rare JDM front bumper on it and going to put some nice 18" deep looking JDM wheels. I may do sideskirts and a rear diffuser later on, after I get it re-painted.
